3/8-32" Tap and Wrench Combo for Rethreading 17 and 26 TIG Torch Heads
Chase damaged or galled TIG torch body threads (17, 18, 26, CS300, CS410) with (3/8" x 32) pitch threads.
These tap kits are a handy tool to have as the threads in your TIG torch body are exposed to dissimilar metals, (copper collet bodies, brass back caps) heat and load pressure which causes excessive thread wear. By retapping the threads as part of your periodic maintenance, you can greatly improve the life of your torch saving you time and money!
