Washington Alloy ER309/309L Embossed TIG Welding Rod is a stainless steel filler metal designed for TIG/GTAW welding applications. ER309/309L is commonly used for joining stainless steel to carbon steel, low-alloy steel, and other stainless steels.

The low-carbon composition helps reduce carbide precipitation and provides good resistance to intergranular corrosion. ER309/309L is also suitable for buttering passes and overlay applications.
